Our History

Grey Research Peptides was built on relationships, not press releases.

  • 2016 – The Beginning. Our founder entered the Research Performance Compounds market and began building direct relationships with peptide manufacturers. Those early partnerships became the backbone of everything we do today.
  • Direct-to-Researcher. After years of working inside the industry, our founder launched Grey Research Peptides to cut out the layered distribution model and pass real savings to qualified buyers in the research community.
  • Catalog Expansion. We expanded beyond core repair peptides (BPC-157, TB-500) into GLP-1 research compounds (Retatrutide, Tirzepatide, Semaglutide, Cagrilintide), proprietary blends (GLOW, KLOW), and longevity-focused compounds (NAD+, Epithalon, MOTS-C, SS-31).

Compound purity is our top concern – but so is delivering products at a cost that’s approachable for the research community. We’ve built our quality model around that balance, and we’re transparent about how it works.

What we do

  • Vetted supply chain. Every manufacturer we use has been working with our founder for years. We don’t rotate suppliers to chase pricing – consistency of source is part of consistency of product.
  • Manufacturer-level purity testing. HPLC and (where appropriate) mass spectrometry purity verification is performed at the synthesis facility, on the actual batch, by the chemists responsible for it.
  • Target purity ≥98%. Most of our peptides test at ≥99%. Anything that fails to meet spec doesn’t ship.
  • Lot tracking. Every vial is traceable to its production batch.
  • Cold-aware logistics. Storage and shipping are handled with the stability requirements of peptides in mind.

How we verify quality

Every batch begins with the manufacturer’s primary documentation – the source Certificate of Analysis produced during synthesis. We then add a second, independent layer: USA-based third-party testing through Freedom Diagnostics, an outside laboratory with no stake in the result. This combination – primary source documentation plus independent verification – gives a fuller picture of identity and purity than either alone.
